All Natural Birth, Katia’s Midwifery Practice, in cooperation with New Mexico Herbs has a line of herbal tinctures specific for use during the Childbearing Year.
Herbs are often used by pregnant and postpartum women because they are wanting a more natural way to deal with health conditions. At times, herbs can be a great support during the childbearing year, at times, women will need a more pharmaceutical or allopathic remedy for their conditions. As a midwife, Katia has been using herbs in her practice and she humbly offers this list of herbs for use for midwives for their clients. Katia tends to be conservative with her remedies and these formulas reflect some of the herbs she uses in her practice. This section is organized by pregnancy support remedies, labor support remedies, postpartum (including breastfeeding) support remedies and a fertility protocol.
